There's been much discussion as to what is usually called “free” energy-energy that can supposedly, with all the right technological know-how, be drawn straight from the atmosphere, and in very ample supply. The debates are about whether the stuff actually exists or not, just what it would really cost were it to be harnessed, and if it does exist can it be really as plentiful and reliable as it is being made out to be by proponents of research and development into this potential renewable power source.
When one listens to the term “free energy device”, one could possibly be listening to one of several different concepts. This may mean a tool for collecting and transmitting power from some resource that orthodox science isn't going to recognize; a device which collects electricity at hardly any cost; or even an example of the legendary perpetual motion machine.
Needless to say, a perpetual motion machine-a machine which drives itself, once and for all, once started up, therefore requiring no energy input again without running out of energy-is impossible. However, it's not so very easy to express that a whole new technology for using the energy “floating” in the atmosphere is impossible.
New technology replace old ones on a regular basis with abilities which had just been “impossible”. Harnessing the strength of the atom for supplying huge amounts of energy was “impossible” before the 1940s. Flying human beings were an “impossible” thing prior to the turn of the 20th century and the Wright Brothers' flight.
The largest claim of the proponents of “free” energy is the fact that enormous amounts of one's energy might be drawn from the Zero Point Field. That is a huge mechanical state of matter for a defined system that is attained if the method is at the lowest potential energy state that it may be in. This is what's called the “ground state” of the system. Zero Point Energy (ZPE) is typically generally known as “residual” energy and it also was first proposed to be usable as an alternative kind of energy way back in 1913 by Otto Stern and Albert Einstein.
It's also generally known as “vacuum energy” in studies of quantum mechanics, and it is supposed to symbolize the energy of totally empty space. This energy field inside the vacuum has been likened to the froth at the base of a waterfall by one of the main researchers into and proponents of Hal Puthof. Puthof also explains, the expression 'zero-point' basically means when the universe were cooled down to absolute zero exactly where all thermal agitation results would be frozen out, this power would even now continue to be.
What's not quite as well known, however, even amongst practicing physicists, are the significance that derive from this acknowledged aspect o quantum physics.
Even so, there is a group of physicists at a number of research labs and universities-who are analyzing the information, we ask such inquiries as whether it may be possible to 'mine' this reservoir of energy to be used as a replacement source of energy, or whether this background energy field might be the reason for inertia and gravity. These questions are of great interest because it is recognized that this energy may be manipulated, and therefore there is a likelihood that this control of this energy, and maybe inertia and gravity, may possibly yield to engineering solutions. Some progress has been created within a subcategory of this field (cavity quantum electrodynamics) with regard to controlling the emission rates of excited atoms and molecules, of great interest in laser development and elsewhere.
Overall, it is people's duty to search for renewable power source to aid us on our daily lives. We must also try and alleviate the negative effects that these might cause to humanity and the environment.
A way to start helping the environment is to install solar panels. It is now getting very cost effective to build and install your own. You can save between 50 - 75% of the cost of home energy. Get your copy of the program "Home Made Energy" by clicking on the link below and you can learn how to make your own solar panels.
